Mission Accomplished

30 November' 05 was mission accomplished in PUNE. coming far from home and hoping for great career materialized that day. The company Birla Soft Ltd. Just a day before that I wasnt able to make it into company I was eager for. Didnt feel much disappointed just felt not my day.

On D day I was totally engrossed in getting ready for one presentation around 3 pm. I had no clue abt the arrival of the company the role they were offering n last the salary. I was abt to walk in for my presentation. My dear saurabh bhayya gives me hint abt the role n growth in the company. I take his advise n sit for the written test. CAT based test, good fortune that day senses prevailed and I got to the strategy which gives good results do things you know first. Some how cleared the written hurdle.

Then came the GD by this time I Changed from my bright orange shirt to white shirt n a tie. I still had my beard on ( scary thought , how would the corporate feel abt it , i was framing excuses for not shaving). GD was also ok " Indian IT Boom crippling manufacturing & engineering industry ". One of my pet topics so I was sure I will clear the GD.

5 people was left in fray for final interview. I rushed to room took a quick shave n got ready for the kill. The interview was done by VP HR n VP Ops of the company so I had my best shot possible. My research work which I did for event at IIM Bangaore ( my earlier post of unfinished dream ) was the trump card for me in the interview. My hard work for 45 days on Indian IT industry was the crux of interveiw. I was able to convince the panel abt my credentials.

After a 20 minute interview I knew I made it. The offer in hand was very good 6.5 lakh pa.
Now trying to figure out how to spend my rest of time in college.
