Diwali at SCMHRD

One more festival in my MBA. Diwali this year was not exciting before the festival actually kickstarted. Most of batchmates went home for festival. 90 of us were left out in the campus. Didnt knew that we will have some of thebest fun this time on campus. All thanks to Col. Mohan who had made sure we had the best possible food on festival for full4 days, we feasted on food full of delicacies which i guess we would have missed at home as well.Food was best part minus the oil in puri ahahh :-). The ques at the food counter and the decoration at the mess door set theright momentum for the festival season.

Diwali morning got woken up by mom's phone call so got out of bed, took a bath wore the new kurta from my friend. By the time I reached mess it was close to 130 PM. Did some course work after food. First puja of the day at sumit's room. Did some bhajan in the grp then moved down to join puja in the basement. Almost 50 peole turned up for the puja. The arrangements were done by three pretty ladies anu, mridula and megha.

Once thru with arti went to the mess had awesome food , the best was the double ka mitta type sweet made of bread.Few snaps from the mess. Then we got the symbiosis society sponsored crackers. had good fun while people started chasing oneanother with crackers. many misguided missiles were targeted at the acad block but the security was prompt enough to guide themto safer zones. Ended the day on a sober note watching the Lord of Rings sequel.

Then came Eid on 4, whole day didnt do nothing for the festival, first time I actually didnt celebrate Eid. Called up friendswished them, still Khaja suleman is missing from contacts. End of day while i was thinking that this Eid is without non-veg foodvimi , my salsa partner, informs me abt the kashmiri mutton she brought from home. Feasted on it with joy.
Ended day by watching the classic movie the Sound of Music.

Looking forward for the next things on campus :-)))
